JANUARY 30, 2016
Official NASA RallySport Novice Orientation Course
at MAX BMW, SOUTH WINDSOR, CT
Everything you need to know about competing in the RallyMoto series!
Whether you've been cautiously pondering RallyMoto or are already fully committed, the Novice Orientation course is a great way to learn the ins and outs of the sport in a relaxed environment alongside experienced rally riders and drivers.
The course will be taught by Anders Green, Director of NASA RallySport East and will cover everything you need to know about competing in rally. From schedule and rules, to navigation and timing, general "what-if" scenarios and specific questions that you have, Anders will make sure that you have all of the information that you need to enjoy a rally.
This course is mandatory for anyone competing in the upcoming Sandblast Rally and being able to attend now (instead of attending on the night before the rally) will help make your rally experience in South Carolina much smoother and more enjoyable!
The course is also helpful for anyone who would like to volunteer at a rally, or who just wants to be more informed about the sport. NASA RallySport is dedicated to growing the sport of rally by making the sport accessible to riders and drivers with no prior experience. Therefore, anyone is welcome to attend the course.
The course will be held on Saturday, January 30th at MAX BMW Motorcycles in South Windsor, CT. The orientation will begin at 9:30 AM and is expected to last about 3 hours and food will be served. In the afternoon, we will have some other rally-related events as well as a display of rally cars and rally bikes. Even if you don't plan on attending the course, come on by the shop to see the vehicles and talk to riders and drivers!
Note: This course is for all NASA RallySport Classes - Bikes & Cars!
Open to all, and free! - no pre-registration necessary!
